PATRIOT CAMP "GRADUATE" AND YOUTH VOLUNTEER WINS WRITING CONTEST!
Cami Emerick, one of our youth volunteers and “graduate” of Patriot Camp, won an essay contest in February 2015 called Patriot's Pen through the Middletown VFW. The topic was 'Why Veterans are Important”. She received a check for $100, a bronze colored trophy of an eagle with wings spread, and dinner for the whole family at the Brownstone in Middletown. Her mother, one of our key adult volunteers, attributes her appreciation of veterans and her essay contest win to her years of participation in Paxtang's Patriot Camp. Congratulations Cami! Keep making us proud.
